Bonham’s Signature Autumn Event
The Fannin County Fair is the county’s largest annual autumn gathering — a multi-day community event centered on the Fannin County Multipurpose Complex at 700 FM 87 in Bonham. It brings together the agricultural, youth, and civic communities of Fannin County in a classic county fair format that has remained largely unchanged at its core: livestock shows, ag mechanics, youth contests, carnival midway, live music, and a parade through downtown.
The 2026 fair kicks off with the Fair Parade on Monday, October 5 at 6:00 PM in Historic Downtown Bonham, circling the Fannin County Courthouse square. The fair itself opens Wednesday, October 7 at 4:00 PM and runs through Saturday, October 10. Saturday has the longest carnival hours — noon to 11:00 PM — and typically draws the biggest crowds.
