What Is Steaks on Main
Steaks on Main is Bonham’s day-long ribeye steak showdown on the historic Square. Grill teams compete during the day, a ticketed ribeye dinner is served at 6:30 PM, and a free outdoor concert closes the evening. The event is organized by the Fannin Agricultural Association, with proceeds benefiting local FFA and 4-H programs.
It’s one of the most well-attended warm-weather events in Fannin County — relaxed, community-focused, and genuinely good food. The kind of event worth driving from Dallas or Sherman for, and worth making a weekend of.

Five private guest spaces, self check-in, no cleaning fee, and parking included. The daytime cook-off and the evening concert are free to attend. A paid ticket is required to receive a dinner plate at the 6:30 PM dinner service. Tickets are available via SimpleTix; plates are limited.
Dinner service is 6:30–8:30 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2026, while plates last. Buy your ticket early — plates are limited and the event sells out.
Cooler and alcohol policies are set by the organizers and may change each year. In 2025, beer and wine were permitted (no glass), and a cooler tag was required. Check the official Steaks on Main or Fannin Agricultural Association announcement for the 2026 cooler policy before attending.

Pets are welcome in two designated spaces: Burke Trammel Cottage and Judge Roy Bean Cottage. Pet fee is $40 per stay, max 2 pets, no size limits. Add pets at booking. Pets are not permitted in the three main-house suites.
