Escape to our spacious and serene bridal suite, perfect for preparing for your special event or a relaxing getaway. Located on the third floor, this suite offers a unique perspective of Bonham, Texas. Enjoy comfortable accommodations with a queen bed and two trundle beds, accommodating up to six guests. While the stairs are steep, the suite's snack bar ensures you have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The space

The Attic Suite is available for booking just 150 days a year, allowing us to maintain the charm of our Texas Homestead. Once those days are booked, availability will resume the following year.

Guest access

Guests of Granny Lou’s Attic will have exclusive access to the entire third-floor suite. This includes the two bedrooms, the snack bar, and the full bathroom. Enjoy the bird's-eye view of Bonham from the comfort of your private space. You'll also have access to free parking on the premises. Please note, this is a private suite within our homestead, ensuring a peaceful and secluded stay.

The neighborhood

Enjoy a leisurely stroll to downtown Bonham and explore the local shops and dining options. You're also within easy walking distance of a charming local winery, perfect for an afternoon tasting. Discover the heart of Bonham, with its unique blend of small-town charm and convenient access to local attractions.

Getting around

Getting around from Granny Lou’s Attic is easy! We offer free parking on the premises. For those flying in, the closest airport is Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), approximately 80 miles away, which is about a 1.5-hour drive. While Bonham doesn't have extensive public transit, the downtown area and local attractions are within walking distance. If you're looking to explore further afield, rideshares are available. Enjoy your stay and the convenience of our location!

Other things to note

***Please note that the Attic Suite is part of our Homesteaded property in accordance with Chapter 11 of the Texas Property Tax Code. In order to maintain our Homestead rights under Section 11.13 (k) we only offer the carriage house for rental for a maximum of 150 days of the calendar year. Once the 150th day is booked on the site, there will be no opportunity to book any other days for that calendar year.***
